Advocacy April Bingo Challenge → Elevating & Empowering Adult Education

Advocacy April 2026 is almost here and IAACE is inviting Indiana Adult Education programs to step into the spotlight through our Advocacy April BINGO Challenge.
Inspired by COABE’s national Advocacy April efforts, this initiative encourages programs to raise awareness, amplify student voices, and strengthen connections with communities and policymakers across the state.
Each BINGO square represents a meaningful step forward. You might review the advocacy resources, teach a lesson on voting, share a student success story, connect with local media, and join in national conversations. Whether you write an op-ed, request an adult education proclamation, or post your Educate and Elevate America pledge badge, each square completed represents a step toward elevating adult education in Indiana.
And yes…there is a little friendly competition in the mix.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development will recognize programs that achieve the most BINGOs, and the IAACE Advocacy Committee will keep the momentum going with a weekly leaderboard on social media.
Be sure to share your progress online using #IAACEAdvocacyApril and tag IAACE throughout the challenge.
We invite all adult education programs across Indiana to join the challenge, raise your voice, and help shine a spotlight on the life changing impact of adult education. Let’s make this April a month of action, awareness, and advocacy!
How to Play
Getting started is easy:
- Download your BINGO card and…
- Complete advocacy activities throughout April
- Mark each square as you complete it. Multiple BINGOs are encouraged!
- Snap pictures of your progress and upload them to the IAACE Google Photo Album by the end of each Thursday for inclusion in the weekly leaderboard. Click this link ((https://photos.app.goo.gl/TurCsJzg6MRabJMk7)) or scan the QR code below to access the IAACE Google Photo Album.
- Watch the leaderboard. IAACE will post updates every Friday on social media.
- Share your impact by posting your BINGO card and activities using #IAACEAdvocacyApril
- Submit your final BINGO card to the IAACE Google Photo Album by Monday, May 4.
Programs with the most completed BINGOs will earn recognition from the DWD along with statewide bragging rights.
