The Indiana Literacy Association (ILA)

is a non-profit organization established in 2005 to improve access to literacy and basic skills education. The ILA provides professional development and networking opportunities for literacy volunteers and organizations that serve adult and family literacy clients in Indiana.

Mission: The Indiana Literacy Association is to expand access to literacy and basic skills education across Indiana by empowering literacy professionals, volunteers, and organizations through professional development, collaboration, networking, and impactful resources that strengthen adult and family literacy in our communities.

Our collaborating organization is Indiana Association for Adult Continuing Education.  Our members are a community that work together for our missions.
