Advancing Indiana Through Adult Literacy

The Indiana Literacy Association (ILA)

is a non-profit organization established in 2005 to improve access to literacy and basic skills education. The ILA provides professional development and networking opportunities for literacy volunteers and organizations that serve adult and family literacy clients in Indiana.

Mission

The Indiana Literacy Association is dedicated to enhancing access to literacy and basic skills education across Indiana. We empower literacy volunteers and organizations through professional development, networking, and engagement by fundraising and grant writing. Together, we strive to transform lives and livelihoods by strengthening literacy services and promoting lifelong learning for adult and family literacy clients.
